How to Use Our Oils & Vinegars

🫒 How to Use Our Olive Oils & Balsamic Vinegars

Whether you're cooking for your family or making something special, our oils and vinegars make everyday food more flavorful and fun. Here’s how to use them with confidence.

🥄 1. Drizzle, Dip, Finish

One of the easiest ways to enjoy our products is simply drizzling them on top of your favorite foods.

  • Use olive oil or balsamic as a finishing drizzle on meats, roasted vegetables, or even pizza.
  • Drizzle balsamic over fruit, pasta, or cheese plates.
  • Dip bread into flavored olive oil — add a pinch of sea salt or dried herbs for extra flavor.

🧪 2. Make Simple Dressings & Marinades

Our oils and vinegars are made to be mixed together for dressings, vinaigrettes, and marinades.

Vinaigrette ratio: 2 parts olive oil to 1 part balsamic vinegar

Whisk or shake. Add garlic, mustard, honey, or herbs for even more flavor.

Quick marinade idea: Garlic Olive Oil + Fig Balsamic + Dijon = amazing on chicken or pork.

🍳 3. Cook With Flavored Olive Oil

Use our oils anywhere you'd normally cook with olive oil.

  • Sauté vegetables in Garlic or Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
  • Roast potatoes in Chipotle Olive Oil
  • Toss pasta with Basil or Lemon Olive Oil instead of sauce

Tip: Keep olive oil under 400°F to preserve its flavor and health benefits.

🍞 4. Dip & Dunk

Pour your favorite olive oil into a small bowl and enjoy with fresh bread. Try adding:

  • A splash of balsamic vinegar
  • A pinch of sea salt or cracked pepper
  • Grated parmesan, garlic, or dried herbs

🍰 5. Bake with Olive Oil Instead of Butter

Olive oil adds moisture and flavor to baked goods — and it’s a simple swap for butter.

🧁 Butter-to-Olive Oil Conversion:

Butter Olive Oil
1 Tbsp ¾ Tbsp
¼ cup 3 Tbsp
½ cup ¼ cup + 2 Tbsp
1 cup ¾ cup

Try it in muffins, brownies, quick breads, or cakes — especially with citrus or herb olive oils.

🍷 6. How to Make a Balsamic Glaze

Perfect for finishing meats, cheeses, strawberries, or ice cream.

  1. Pour ½ cup balsamic vinegar into a small saucepan.
  2. Simmer over low heat (do not boil).
  3. Stir occasionally for 10–15 minutes until it thickens and coats a spoon.

Optional: Add 1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup for sweetness. Store in a jar in the fridge.

🧊 7. Storage Tips

  • Store bottles in a cool, dark cabinet — not near the stove or window.
  • Seal tightly between uses.
  • Use within 12–18 months for peak flavor.
  • Do not refrigerate — it can cloud the oil (but it will clear again at room temp).

Balsamics may naturally darken or thicken over time — this is normal and still delicious.

🍹 8. Stir Into Drinks & Mocktails

Our balsamic vinegars make fun drink mixers! Try a splash in:

  • Lemonade or sparkling water
  • Iced tea or mocktail spritzers
  • Simple cocktails with gin, vodka, or rum

Tip: Start with ½–1 tsp per drink and adjust to taste.

🔁 9. Mix, Taste, and Explore

There’s no wrong way to use our oils and vinegars — mix and match until you find what you love!

  • Add balsamic to eggs or roasted veggies
  • Drizzle olive oil over leftovers or frozen pizza
  • Stir into soup, hummus, or yogurt-based dips
