Blackberry Ginger Refresher

Blackberry Ginger Refresher

Recently, we had the great fortune of having Chef Steffani Adaska to our shop for a great cooking demonstration using the olive oils and vinegar's in some pretty tasty dishes. This Blackberry Ginger Refresher was just one of those yummy treats that she made for us. Summer is here and you've got to try this one.

Ingredient Spotlight. Our Blackberry Ginger Dark Balsamic Vinegar is the whole idea here: a jammy, dark-berry sweetness with a warm ginger snap that blooms as it dissolves into the bubbles. A little goes a long way, turning a plain glass of Prosecco into something special.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place sugar cube in the bottom of a chilled champagne flute.
  2. Pour the North Conway Olive Oil Company Blackberry Ginger Balsamic Vinegar over the sugar cube to dissolve slightly.
  3. Pour Prosecco into flute and garnish with fresh blackberries.

Chef's Notes

  • Chill everything first: the flute, the Prosecco, and the glass all keep the bubbles lively and the drink crisp.
  • Pour the Prosecco slowly down the side of the flute so the balsamic swirls up through the wine instead of flattening the fizz.

Make It Yours

  • Not in the mood for wine? Build it with chilled club soda or ginger ale for a bright, alcohol-free refresher.
  • Swap in our Strawberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar with fresh raspberries for a different berry note.

Allergens: none of the major allergens.

Saluti!
