A sweet-savory riff on the classic — crisp toasts, creamy burrata, macerated strawberries, and a dark strawberry balsamic. It's summer on a plate, and it takes about ten minutes.
Ingredient Spotlight. Our Strawberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar macerates the berries into a glossy, jammy topping, and our Basil Infused Olive Oil — brushed on the toasts and drizzled over the top — brings the herbal note that makes it bruschetta.
Ingredients
1 French baguette, sliced
2 Tbsp Basil Infused Olive Oil
3 cups strawberries, diced
2 Tbsp Strawberry Dark Balsamic
8 oz burrata, drained
Torn basil · flaky salt · black pepper
Instructions
Heat oven to 400°F. Brush the baguette slices with Basil oil and bake ~10 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp.
Toss the strawberries with the Strawberry balsamic; let sit while the bread toasts.
Spoon torn burrata onto each toast, top with the macerated strawberries, and finish with a drizzle of Basil oil, torn basil, flaky salt, and pepper. Serve fresh.
Chef's Notes
Assemble just before serving so the toasts stay crisp.
A quick simmer turns the balsamic into a thicker glaze, if you like more drama.
Make It Yours
Scatter chopped toasted pistachios for crunch.
No burrata? Fresh ricotta is a lovely, milder swap.

This is one of those quietly perfect little recipes — warm fig compote spooned over cool Greek yogurt, with cinnamon-toasted walnuts and oats for crunch. It is a protein-packed breakfast that feels like dessert, and it comes together in about fifteen minutes.
This cheesecake is everything you want from a cold-weather dessert — dense yet creamy, fluffy and silky at once, crowned with warm spiced pears in a glossy balsamic glaze. It celebrates autumn and winter flavors but, in our experience, gets requested year-round.
This is the appetizer that quietly steals the party — grilled bread, cloud-soft whipped ricotta, cool heirloom tomatoes, and a dark, glossy balsamic reduction over the top. It is savory and sweet and fresh all at once, with a satisfying crunch, and it comes together faster than you would think.
