Blackberry Ginger Sesame Stir-Fry

November 10, 2025

Blackberry Ginger Sesame Stir-Fry

Fast, glossy, and packed with flavor, this stir-fry leans on toasted sesame oil for its nutty backbone and a splash of fruit balsamic to finish. Everything happens in one skillet, so dinner is on the table before the rice is done.

Ingredient Spotlight. Our Toasted Sesame Oil brings a rich, nutty depth that anchors the whole dish, while our Blackberry Ginger Dark Balsamic stirs in at the end for a jammy, gingery sweetness that balances the savory soy.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2T fresh ginger minced
  • 1T garlic minced
  • 3-4T toasted sesame oil
  • 1 bunch scallions chopped
  • ¼ cup onions diced
  • ¼ cup diced red + green peppers
  • 2-3T soy sauce
  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • ¼ cup blackberry ginger balsamic

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet on medium high heat, add sesame oil.
  2. Add chicken and cook on both sides 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Add ginger, garlic, and onions - cook 2-3 minutes until tender.
  4. Add chicken broth, half of your scallions, and soy sauce..
  5. Cook covered 4-5 minutes.
  6. Stir in blackberry ginger balsamic and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and serve over your favorite noodles or rice.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.

Chef's Notes

  • Keep the pan hot and don't crowd the chicken so it browns and sears rather than steams.
  • Add the blackberry ginger balsamic near the end so it reduces into a glossy glaze without losing its bright fruit note.

Make It Yours

  • Swap the chicken for shrimp, tofu, or thin-sliced beef; the sesame-and-balsamic base works with all of them.
  • For a different fruit-forward finish, try our Honey Ginger White Balsamic in place of the blackberry ginger.

Allergens: contains sesame and soy (soy sauce also typically contains wheat/gluten).
