Chicken has become a staple in most American’s weekly meal plans – it is inexpensive, easy to fix and is a central dish in most diet plans. But we all know that chicken can also get a little boring and our Poultry Seasoning is certainly perfect to give this wonderful meat a nice little jolt for the taste buds and as an added benefit it is a salt free too! Poultry Seasoning is also commonly referred to as Chicken Seasoning or Stuffing Seasoning and it is very popular around thanksgiving.
We like to use it as a wet rub on our chicken and mix 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning with 1/4 cup of olive oil. It isn’t just for chicken either as it adds mouthwatering flavor to Turkey, stuffing, ground turkey, veggie burgers, meatloaf, pork chops, pork roast and also in a variety of chicken or vegetable soups and stews.
Use ½ to 1 teaspoon per cup of stuffing and we use it to flavor our gravies as well.
